About Me
My name is Karen Carreon and I am a graduate of the prestigious Boulder College of Massage Therapy and a registered massage therapist in the State of Colorado since 2012. My mission is to offer care for your health by applying massage techniques applicable to your needs. I enjoy educating my clients and encouraging self care so that results between sessions lasts longer.
Choosing a massage therapist is a very important decision. In my training I took special interest in Sports and Orthopedic massage. While I enjoy a more therapeutic approach to massage, I think it’s important to incorporate the long soothing strokes of Swedish massage to facilitate a deeper relaxed state. With an integrative approach, multiple therapies may be administered in one session including deep tissue work, stretching, cupping, manual lymph drainage, shiatzu, reiki, and of course Swedish. Each session is unique to the client and to the needs of the day.

What To Expect
With Covid-19 and general concerns for the health and safety of all clients and practitioners in the office, we ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness to please cancel your appointment. If you have been directly exposed to covid or other significant contagious illness we ask that you reschedule your appointment. We follow Jefferson County and DORA guidelines. If you have questions prior to your appointment please email, text, or call for clarification. Please arrive to your appointment on-time. If you are early, please wait outside so that proper cleaning between sessions can take place. Unless you are sick or have a legitimate urgent matter, I expect at least a 24 hour notice to cancel an appointment. With snow days or other inclement weather you may choose to stay safe at home as I may do the same. These driving conditions decisions can be made the same day as your appointment. If you are new to massage and have questions regarding protocol I will be happy to go over procedures and make sure you feel comfortable and understand how it all works. If, during the massage, you have questions please do not hesitate to ask. If there is any discomfort such as the pressure being too deep or you are cold or hot or the headrest needs adjustment, etc., please speak up and your needs will be addressed. My goal is for you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated with long lasting benefits.
